Yesterday was a bit breezy. It was blowing about 25mph which is a bit stiff, but that wasn't totally what caused me to shoot 105!!!! 59 shots on the back 9 started on the 10th after a gorgeous drive which left me a flip with a sand iron to go. I managed to shack it into the massive gorse bushes and then duff my next shot to chip my fifth shot through the green and detatch my head from my body. There was also a 10 or 11 on my card on the 16th. Sooo many lost balls. I still love golf, although it has tested my resolve and our relationship a bit.
Speaking of detatched, today I figured out why I was so poor yesterday. I had reverted to my armsy and tense-handed swing and forgotten everything Paul Thomas had taught me. I was feeling pretty good about my game leading in to yesterdays round at Pyle and Kenfig and am still a bit flummoxed by how I ended up playing so poorly.
Anyway, onwards and upwards.
The entries for the League to Dubai close in 3 hours. Looking forward to trying to get back to Dubai and Abu Dhabi this December. Have you got your entry in? I'd really like there to be more Welsh entries so that I don't have to travel into England too far!
